It’s the cowardly head of the FBI, Comey, who is the accurate target of our disgust. And Comey serves at the blessing of Obama. They are all culpable of malfeasance of office, if not downright cowardice - afraid of their armed citizens! Hard to believe. I hope 5 million of these weekend armed warriors face off the government tomorrow. Then the country is over - ruled by White Supremacists. At least they are obvious at this point, compared to the other White Supremacists who populate our administration and congress still hiding in camouflage right out in the open: suits and ties.
Every day that they’re allowed to remain there is a stick in the eye of the public.

Monday, Bundy and his crew began tearing apart federal fencing at the reserve to allow one local rancher family to move its cattle through the area.
Right there is a good reason to stop eating beef. Big Ag and all its entitled welfare rancher offshoots who think they can do whatever they want, nevermind the rest of us insignificant little peasants who obey the rules.

To me, this is scary because it’s a sign to any other nutty group out there to do pretty much whatever you wish so long as it’s not an overt attack on a courthouse or federal law enforcement headquarters, etc. Seriously, feds, I understand waiting to let idiots hang themselves – but they’ve gone way past that now. Not doing anything with the Bundys a couple years back was a big mistake. If I were employees in any of the other “hated” federal organizations–EPA, BLM, FEMA, now NOAA–I’d be worried for my safety.

I would think the people who work at the reserve - even though Federal employees - are also local residents. I cannot imagine them commuting from Washington DC on a daily basis, like Bundy seems to want to believe. The Feds may have the final say in decisions, but the people who work onsite must have some discretion in matters and as residents consider the affects on decisions locally. Bundy and his band of Y’all-Quaeda are the interlopers.

I know we walk about two sets of rules… but there are apparently 37, and one set is for these cretins. Look, I get that Bundy’s Boys want to re-enact the Alamo here and the feds don’t want to give them their begged-for martyr status. But come on. Destruction of public AND federal property. Theft. Threatening federal employees and their families. The law used to mean something. As just an average citizen, this has been so demoralizing.

You’re absolutely right. If we’re going to pay for black army helicopters, secret rendition sites and covert kill teams we damn well need to start using them domestically. These are federal files and a mostly historic building we’re talking about here. If we don’t off these damn reactionaries for despoiling a bird sanctuary visitors center the next thing you know it’s Olympus Has Fallen and the next Civil War.
