Mattis and McMaster leapt to the conclusion that the Vinson was steaming to the Korean Peninsula.Then Trump refers to an armada with submarines or some such. Apparently, none of their advisors checked the actual location of the Vinson.
Given the tension with N.Korea, this is not just embarrassing but dangerous.

Shows Trumps biggest problem, the military does not trust him. Just like the 60 tomahawks that attacked the forewarned Syrian base, 1 failed, so history was quickly revised to become 59 tomahawks, at $1.5 million each, shot at a Syrian base, forewarned, which was really a signal to China to control NK or Trump would.
Trump is dangerous and unpredictable. Those are the stories coming from our allies in Asia

Someone should ask admin officials why the ship is headed to the Sea of Japan if the threat is North Korea. I’m not sure any of them could actually point out that the Sea of Japan borders North Korea.

None of these jokers has any idea of what they’re doing and the rest of the world knows it. I doubt there has been a more dangerous time for the nation since the Cuban missile crisis. The difference is this crisis is entirely our own creation and as such totally unnecessary. I don’t just mean Trump’s handling of N. Korea, I mean EVERYTHING he is doing internationally and at home.

Not just North Korea, the entire world is seeing the confusion in this administration. If there are people out there with bad intentions they will see opportunity here. Not just toward us, but toward others as well.
