This is what binge watching Game of Thrones gets you.
Wayne LaPierre pre-emptively condemns crossbow critics.
Another crossbow freak from Mich: Ted “Mr. Poopypants” Nugent. You know, the poacher on the NSRA board of directors.
Now we are going to have close the ComiCon loophole and have a National Bolt Registry.
Was it Ted Nugent? He claims to be an avid bow hunter here. If so, no worries. Hope the officer will be alright.
famous last words: “I won’t give up my crossbow until you pry it out of my cold, dead hands. Yeow! My hands are really freez…”
Everyone recognizes that cops deal with dangerous people, people most of us hope we’ll never run across in a dark alley.
I’m just not sure whether to applaud these government employees, or wipe them all out with a surprise militia offensive. Conservatives make it so hard to sort out!
I love my countrymen, but I don’t want to piss off my Congressional representative.
Crossbows don’t shoot arrows. They shoot a bolt. The bolt is very heavy and short. It was designed to penetrate the armor worn when the Crossbows were used as tools of war.
Crossbow vs high capacity pistol. Yeah, that will work.
If you would like to see what is happening in your area take a look at the gun rundown website: http://www.gunrundown.com/
What is the story? Bad guy comes to a gun fight armed with a crossbow? Last I looked crossbows were deadly weapons. He shot and seriously wounded a deputy. The trooper returned fire. Anything more to this story. Any real reason to feel sorry for the guy who shot the deputy?
The guy was suspected of a felony (had a fight with neighbor and was attacking with a pitchfork). Apparently this guy was pretty volatile. The cops showed up with an arrest warrant and the guy shot the deputy with his crossbow. The bolt just missed the deputy’s spine. He’s going to survive, but they are waiting to see if there will be complications.
I sincerely hope the guy recovers. At the least, a very bad day on the job.
Still, I sure don’t want to piss off my Congressional representative, who seems ready to lead the charge against those evil doer government employees.
