Discussion: Mich. Dem: GOP Urged Voters To Complain About O-Care To My Sick Mom

Really? Well, no shit, sure looks like Republicans still need diapers.

Sloppy or Evil staff work? With the GOP you donā€™t even have to decide. You get both.

Why is the FEC not stomping on this and other misdeeds, like the misleading, and sometimes false, mailers the Kooch brothers are sending out in NC?The GoP is nothing more than political mafia. Someone needs to hang these criminals up by their balls.

I canā€™t understand why Pubbies donā€™t want to talk about their political ad. Really, arenā€™t the Pubbies the Party of honesty and integrity?

Either your reading comprehension skills are that of an eight-year old, or youā€™re just a moron. The article clearly states that his mother is at ā€œa hospice facility.ā€

Iden says he has no control over those allies of his who are trying to get him re-elected. Itā€™s like Elizabeth I disclaiming any responsibility for the raids of Drake and Hawkins on the Spanish Main, except that she was Gloriana and Iden is a dick.

ā€œCandidate John Fisher still lives with mom? No kidding!ā€

Either this is poorly-executed snark, or your reading comprehension skills are no better than rudesanā€™s, or youā€™re just an idiot. The article clearly states that his mother is at ā€œa hospice facility.ā€

The smart move would also be to set up an automated machine at that number that immediately started to list all the good features about the ACA.

Fisher is lucky heā€™s in Michigan and not Mississippiā€”otherwise they would have broken into the hospice to take photos of his mom.

I did not read that Fisher was her roommate in the facility. Iā€™m guessing if he was, that would be a good thing for the Republicans to attack. Not many people would vote for a candidate in hospice care.

Ever take a course in reading comprehension?

What do you expect from people who think Sarah Palin is a smart lady? Itā€™s the Dunning-Krueger Effect in all its glory.

You seem to think Republican voters donā€™t already know what kind of people theyā€™re voting for. I think they know exactly what kind of people they are and that is why they vote for them.

The Kansans would seem to disagree with you.

Either you didnā€™t bother to read the article, or your reading comprehension is pathetically lacking. No where In the article does it state that Fisher lives with his mother. Rather, it says that his 91-year-old mother is in a hospice facility (do you even understand what that means?) and that he obtained a phone, in his name, for his motherā€™s use.

Seems like a perfect opportunity to put a very very virulent, anti-Iden campaign slogan on Momā€™s answering machine!

ORā€¦Just program it to forward to a nice 900 number!!!

The Republican ethical world is actually a sphere, and they believe if you go far enough into absolute depravity and awfulness, you come out again on the side of virtue.
It is, in fact, the only world they believe is round, so thereā€™s that!

Finally, itā€™s also high time the GOPigs did some ā€˜fine tuningā€™ on that ā€œRepublicans are Peopleā€ ad. The evidence to the contrary is piling up quickly.

ā€œRepublicans harass dying old ladies.ā€

The phone would be pretty quiet if the calls were for legitimate complaints.

Kind of hard to claim ā€œOops! ā€“ Unintentional!ā€ when the ā€œLeave us bedriddenā€ directs callers to an elderly, bedridden woman in a hospice facilityā€¦
