Black eye? Can’t think of reasons to not be seen
While I am concerned about her well-being, I completely understand if she does not want to be seen in public pretending to tolerate her husband.
On the other hand, if she were to go, I am sure either Canada or Singapore would gladly grant her asylum.
robo-melania is scheduled for a test-run:
She’s probably needs an extended period to heal from a plastic surgery procedure.
Depression and stress slows up the healing process. If you look at how tight her face is already, any work to look natural will be more invasive.
By marrying Dotard, Melania has created a more diabolical prison for herself than anything KJU could have ever come up with.
That was my guess as well. Any signs of age and she will be officially replaced with a still younger model.
If there is a more irrelevant person in DC today I’m hard pressed to name them. Melania doesn’t matter. At all. To anyone.
Maybe something to do with erasing those frown lines around the mouth.
Empathypalooza! Glitziest, buzziest schmaltzfest evah! Ratings gold baby!
Will the Khizr and Ghazala Khan be invited?
I’ve heard that no press will be allowed at this function. Could it be because she’ll spend 10 mins. smiling, greeting people and then race out of the prison again?
IMO, I don’t think it’s necessarily plastic surgery. I mean, maybe she’ll have her eyes done yet again(!) so that her now slitty eyes will be even harder to see through but the healing time shouldn’t be that long.
And what’s-his-name’s widow?

Was trying to make a point sardonically. Clearly I have failed. : (
Let’s be fair - the article says the event is to “honor” Gold Star families; it doesn’t say the families are invited. I mean, you know how weepy & depressing these people can be, always focusing on their loss & feelings, and not nearly as appreciative of Dear Leader’s amazing awesomeness as they should
be.
I assumed from the no-press condition that there might in fact be bereaved survivors there with whom the buffoon-in-chief was planning to interact in his unique way.
Geez, you’d think they could get the tie right.
