I think they just donât care! Remember when Mr. Trump famously remarked that he could shoot someone and his supporters wouldnât care? I think heâs convinced that he can just blow through any flub through sheer bravado. I also have the feeling that his entire campaign is simply an extended work of performance art.

You know given the complete lack of respect Republicansâ have for musiciansâ intellectual property rights, as was show cased once more tonight by Trump using Queenâs We are the Champion despite having previously been told not to, it really shouldnât be suprising that his campaignâs speech writers would stoop to plagerism.

I was afraid of that too but at least on MSNBC they are going after her and the campaign hard, stronger than anything I expected.

Yep, even Michael Steele thinks itâs a disaster. And I just love that Joy Reid was quick to point out that no one knows who lifted that speech from Michelle Obama, that Melania is a grown woman and capable of having plagiarized it herself. She also reminded everyone that Melania herself claimed to have written it by herself.

No, sorry, I disagree. First, she claimed to have written it herself â heck, she didnât even have to rehearse because she knew it so well from having written it. We may all have been pretty confident that was a lie, but thereâs no escaping it now.
Second, theyâre pitching her husband as someone who will surround himself with all the best people â he may not know everything, but heâll only hire people who are experts. And yet, the Trump campaign canât even hire speech writers who can write an original speech!
Nope, she does not get a break on this one. Nor does she deserve a break.
