Discussion: Melania Trump Releases Letter From Atty Saying She Came To US '100%' Legally

@inversion @centralasiaexpat

I believe she came on a tourist visa legally, but then did modeling jobs, not legal on a tourist visa. But this goes on a lot in the modeling industry. There was a Mother Jones story about trump Model Management bringing young women here on tourist vistas and exploiting them.

Trump Model Management, has profited from using foreign models who came to the United States on tourist visas that did not permit them to work here, according to three former Trump models, all noncitizens, who shared their stories with Mother Jones. Financial and immigration records included in a recent lawsuit filed by a fourth former Trump model show that she, too, worked for Trumpā€™s agency in the United States without a proper visa.

We donā€™t believe you. Kaithxbai.

And honestly, we donā€™t actually care, except for the fact that it shows your husband to be a hypocrite and a liar.

Doesnā€™t every ridiculous legal assertion (Ammo Bundy should be allowed to wear his cowboy costume in court) involve a written assertion from a lawyer that what theyā€™re requesting is True, Right, Just and Legal?

This should really streamline the legalization process for the other 11 million.

ā€œSheā€™s the most legal immigrant in the history of immigrants,ā€ the letter also stated.

BTW, when are we having that promised press conference?

I didnā€™t realize there were 11 million Eastern European models in the shadows working here. Asking to see a size 2 where I live draws blank stares.

no idea

and I have Google upā€¦

I donā€™t need your letter. Show us your papers.

that means she didnā€™t answer the question.

The question isnā€™t was she here legally, but did she violate her tourist visa?

Sometimes reading the comments makes adding your own unnecessary.

I donā€™t think this is enough. We need to know the dates she entered the US and if she worked when she didnā€™t have the proper visa. Letters from lawyers don"t count.

He and his firm worked on behalf of John Lennon who got to stay here. Thatā€™s enough for me.

Her marriage IS an investment.

ā€œI can unequivocally state that these allegations are not supported by the record, and are therefore completely without merit,ā€

Lawyers donā€™t state anything unequivocally. As one said to me once, ā€œIf the judge asked me, Will the sun rise tomorrow, Iā€™d tell him, Ask me the next day.ā€

Exactly - itā€™s perfectly legal to come to the US on a tourist visa. Itā€™s not legal to work in the US with a tourist visa.

Seems legit.
