I cannot get past the irony that Trump calls Kelly a bimbo because she did some glam photos. Yet doesn’t mind displaying his naked wife as a personal trophy.

Megyn Kelly actually could weigh in on this in a substantive way…about the sexist ways that Fox News and the republican party package “their women” to maximize their toxic messages to horny old men. There is a caste system for women. And women who allow themselves to look the way that most women do are mostly invisible. You are only visible in right wing media and the republican party if you look a certain way. You can say whatever the hell crazy stuff you want if you are the republican version of “hot”. They will have their token Greta Von Susteren (who cut up her face to try to please them) and an occasional lawmaker. But for the most part, the staffers and the talking heads and the women lawmakers who are being promoted look a certain way.

I don’t fault MK and the real housewives for playing this game, as it has given them fame and power and money…but it is a little disingenuous that they play along with it and then seem outraged when it gets taken to the next level…Trump is like the person w/ Tourrette’s syndrome who is saying what everyone else is doing…Breitbart and Limbaugh have been saying stuff like this about Democratic women for awhile… it’s so adolescent Republican frat boy.

Yes, Megyn, the conservative movement is comprised of misogynists, racists, and neanderthals who aren’t all that far removed from playground bullies in demeanor and policy-making. Calling this out now makes you a liberal, in the eyes of your colleagues and the accusations of being a “Femi-Nazi” aren’t too far off. Welcome aboard, I guess.

Roger Ailes would encourage Andrea Tantaros to dance on the anchor desk like a drunk monkey if it raised ratings and got past the Standards & Practices lawyers.

TPM molts every now and then, shedding it’s old skin and donning a new one. The glitches are a small price to pay for the nice company here.

“Megyn Kelly expressed disbelief at Donald Trump’s Thursday attack on the physical appearance of the wife of his presidential rival, Sen. Ted Cruz.”

No problem with him:

  • Questioning the President’s birth certificate.
  • Calling Mexicans “rapists”.
  • Inventing “thousands and thousands” of cheering crowds on 9/11.
  • Pushing a ban on Muslim immigration.
  • Praising Putin.
  • Urging an end to childhood vaccinations.

But he made an unkind remark about a rival’s wife? With that she has a problem….

This one weird trick will get TPM to post a story.

When Megyn Kelly is the adult in the room you know the GOPers have not just jumped the shark, they hurdled it.

So this is the GOP establishments new tactic to delegitimize trump…by using one of its pundits to go after him…

Hasn’t she had enough? I am starting to believe that she likes to be bitch-slapped by Trump.

I think they look like penguins. I shall be a penguin the next time the system logs me in. If it doesn’t lose my avatar again…

I don’t think Trump has any illusions that Melania is anything other than a gold-digging bimbo. She is something to show off, like a yatch or a luxury car.
