Discussion: Megyn Kelly On Trump Feud: I Worry About Someone Hurting Me In Front Of My Kids

Yes, I agree…

However, a very strong case can be made that Kelly has been actively help build a society like that ever since she first got in front of the cameras on Fox. So there is a certain amount of reaping what you sow going on here.

I think it’s called karma…

Megyn, remember your kids will be around long after you are gone. They and their children will get to see the historian version of what Fox has done to the country. I’m sorry young lady but your decendents are going to see that grandmother was part of a political machine that lie everyday in every way. If they have a conscience they will not be proud to saying my grandmother was a mouth piece for Fox and the GOP.

Her worrying about lying in front of her kids… not so much.

Shoulda thought of that before you went to work for Fox and started pandering to the crazy, then.

That may well be. But I’ve been threatened myself and I think people who do that are despicable period full stop. I can set my feelings regarding Megyn Kelly aside when I think about the situation. We can’t have death threats become a routine part of civic discourse. It’s really as simple as that.

She also said that there is no “right-wing bias” at Fox. They are Fair and Balanced. Seriously? I’m not saying she deserves death threats, but how about getting out of that bubble Megyn and realizing that Fox is the GOP propaganda arm and has been for years.

She acknowledges that Fox leans toward the right and the conservative POV but also says she unafraid to ask the tough questions of those conservatives she interviews. Also says her program is aimed toward women who’ve had a busy day at work or at work and then home with children, and they can relax while watching. I personally couldn’t relax knowing she’s likely to have Dick and Liz on answering softball questions.

@intelliwriter She said they were Fair and Balanced, and then to prove it it showed her interviewing Dick and Liz and throwing what she probably thought was a tough question at them. It wasn’t.

“But time and time again, history has proven that you got it wrong as well in Iraq, sir,” Kelly said. "You said there was no doubt Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction;

Dick fearlessly answered

“No, I just fundamentally disagree, Megyn,” said Cheney. "You’ve got to go back and look at the track record.

“He did the best he’s capable of doing.”

Haha…she took a dump in both their cereal bowls. Breakfast is served!

Maybe she should have thought of that before she became a propagandist who sells her country down the river for a buck on a daily basis.

Agreed. But simultaneously, we cannot have so-called journalists poisoning our public discourse. Davey pointed out, as you sow, so shall you reap. When you get busy inciting the mob, it isn’t a big surprise if the mob turns on you when you say something they intensely dislike.

Her show seems to have the most race baiting content of all the Fox nightly shows and that’s saying something. She doesn’t let the words come out of her mouth directly, she has certain guests who make it very clear what she must think.

True.

I do have to notice though, that after all these years of being critical of Liberals and Democrats, she’s apparently never had to deal with threats before.

That’s a nice tacit admission that right-wingers are more prone to thuggery.

Charlie Rose has NEVER been a great interviewer. I have been embarrassed at some of the questions he has asked of some of his guests.

Oh megyn! If you’re captured and tortured, remember “…it’s physical therapy___essentially.” And pepper spray is a natural food supplement___essentially!

With hate peddling and dog whistling bigots and race baiters like YOU and your ilk at FOX, it is karma you should be concerned about. So put on your Big Girl panties and SHADDUP:

Absolutely. In a society of reason, we can hold opinions that others disagree with, and this should not lead to threats of violence or episodes of violence. Ms Kelly is actually a pretty reasoned person. She should be able to fulfill her role without fear of stuff happening.

Unfortunately, given her role has been to assist and encourage making this kind of stuff happen to “other people”, there is a certain balance here…

You reap what you sow Megyn. Throwing red meat to a pack of dogs night after night is really fun, until you slip and fall into the pit yourself.

Exactly what I was thinkin’…

Wonder if you could go back through stuff she thrown out over the years and see if there’s suggestions of hurting liberal folks?
