Discussion: Megyn Kelly Grills North Carolina Guv Over Anti-LGBT Law (VIDEO)

His “common sense solution” is looking for a non-existent problem. I have lived 67 years and have never encountered the problem he says had to be solved by his legislation.

Megyn “grilling” again with the heat turned off. The Governor prefers safe talk about men in woman’s rooms and Ms. Kelly dutifully kept it there. She did not ask him why he felt it necessary to eliminate state level recourse for discrimination of any kind, racial, ethnic etc and do so in that same bill. She left put all the LGBT stuff and went right down the Gov’s alley.

This bill is loaded with crap that has nothing to do with men going into women’s rooms ( which was illegal before this bill came about ) but it just never comes up when folks are “grilling” the Gov.

OK, uhm wasn’t the last time Republicans made sense was when Bill Kristol was correct?

I would like to ask this: how many of you with small children let them go into a large public restroom without an adult anyway?

Is it just me or was that in the Top Ten WTF? looks on the Republican Propaganda Channel?

OMG! the unseen dangers!

She definitely had a couple of them there.

She’s got chops, Megyn does. Not on everything (Kids, of COURSE Santa is white comes to mind), but she is a good interviewer.

Pity she is wasted on the Fox channel.

I hear from mom and dad and families

Oh, “mom and dad and families”, well now that’s the same old kettle of fish just shoved into a new pidginhole, to mix my fish and pidgin metaphors but not bathrooms.
$2 Haircut’s as spineless as they come

The right denies the reality of trans-gender.
Add it to the list.

Yesterday I used a uni-sex bathroom in a doctor’s office, potty and urinal, no one joined me or even tried to, and I couldn’t help but think about what an overinflated, nonsense issue the 24/7 TV media talkers are obsessed with.

@tru The answer is probably no one, and in fact when I worked at the SFO airport I was sometimes asked by fathers to take their daughters into the ladies’ room. Obviously they didn’t want the little girl to roam around alone even in the company of other women.

@booch221 Because Kelly was in “grilling” and “drilling” mode, not “asking” mode.

Bill Kristol was correct? Pull the other one.

I wish she had asked him, why the law was rushed through the legislature, with no public notice or debate, and why he felt compelled to sign it, given the flawed process.

"It’s not just women’s bathrooms."

Yeah, every woman I ever dated most ardent passion was dressing up like a man in sunglasses so she could stand at a smelly urinal and surreptitiously espy schlongs to the left of her and peckers to the right.

Cindy Sheehan was called “mom” when she met with dubya to protest the Iraq war and the loss of her son. She didn’t much like it either.

Liar and coward.

Any religious person who supports this liar should be asham d of themselves. You harm your religion, your state, and your country.

My wife and I figured about the time my kids got to elementary school, they were old enough to go into the bathroom of their own gender. So if my wife is in public with my 8 year-old son, he goes to the boys room by himself. Ditto for me and my 6 year-old daughter.

Hahaha, I shared it already but I just got back from Haiti a couple weeks ago. I was on a 7-hour bus ride and the first potty stop was a bunch of shrubs – men were in front of the shrubs, women went to the other side of them. Second potty stop was a bona fide bathroom – two stalls on one side of the wall, two urinals on the other side, with a coed sink next to the urinals.

Then I come back and find out they’re passing laws about bathrooms here! Seems like they had it right in Haiti – when ya gotta go, ya gotta go, and nobody stresses out too much about it. Ahh well…

Do you think Megyn Kelly gets tired of interviewing Republican politicians since it’s obvious she is smarter than ALL of them?

He’s an obvious dunce, and she is making obvious points.

Don’t tell anyone but I’ve known to go into the bushes at Golden Gate Park (SF) when dog friend and I wandered off the beaten path. She used to join me too.
