No, I don’t think so. She’s narcissistic, god-drunk, ill-informed, and self-righteous, but I don’t think she’s a grifter on the level that these lawyers are. I repeat: they’re using her.

Makes sense to me. I think achieving what a normal lawyer would think of as the best possible outcome isn’t necessarily this Staver guy’s first priority.

Agreed. Narcissistic ill-informed people often think they have “right” on their side simply because they’re too ignorant to know when they don’t.
This left me with more questions. It refers to “Section 228 of the Constitution”. I checked the US and KY constitutions, and neither even HAS a section 228. I was looking to see if that part of the oath perhaps referenced upholding the law of the land.

Thank you! (for the laugh as much as for the information) So, yes, she certainly did swear to uphold the Constitution(s) and the law. I really can’t see even an inch of wiggle room for her or her scumbag of an attorney.
Guys, I know you’ve got a bit of a bigot problem down there, but if it make you feel any better up here in Canada we just caught one of our Conservative candidates, on camera, pissing into a homeowner’s coffee mug and then dumping it down the kitchen sink.
So, you guys might have a bigot problem, but at least between the crack-smoking mayor and the mug-pisser we’re giving you a run for your money on batshit crazy, right?

Oh that is most certainly a bathroom. The NDP, our socialist party, got to make one hell of an awesome morning announcement regarding “trickle-down economics”, so its been a pretty giddy day for me all in all haha.
