If Trump is accused of having sex with a zebra, McMaster saying he saw no chickens in the Oval Office is not really a denial. The leak was that ISIL plans to use laptops on planes. McMaster is saying nothing about that.
Waiting for the Trump interview with Lester Holt…
Oh, sorry, guess WaPo was wrong. Thanks for clearing that up for us.
Personally, I think he’s just McMaster-baiting us.
See you at your indictment Mr. HR “aiding & abetting” McMaster.
PP is going to show all of us by just admitting it tomorrow.
3 am Twittersplat?
McMaster carefully describes what was not said, but equally carefully declines to deny that information that was not authorized for dissemination even to our allies was shared with the Russians. No trees were harmed in the preparation of this message.
The Wraithing of H.R. McMaster
McMaster denies events that are not alleged to occur. What he does NOT deny is the Post allegation that Trump revealed to his Russian “guests” information from allies that “the United States was not authorized to share . . . about an Islamic State threat involving the use of laptop computers on aircraft” in a way that “could jeopardize one of the intelligence community’s key sources on ISIL.”
In other words, our “Fake President” may well have revealed information that could cost lives.
If that is not Treason as the Constitution defines it, I don’t know what is.
traitor
Comedy Central is opening a new office in Moscow. They always go where people are laughing the hardest.
The Kremlin is ground zero. It’s like North Korea dropped a laughing gas missile on them.
Unfortunately, it’s just our own orange hot air buffoon causing the yuks…
Well, since McMaster said this, he couldn’t possibly be the one who leaked it or had it leaked. Completely impossible.
The massively large seemingly blanket denial, which is actually still a denial about something the Post didn’t assert, and therefore still non-denial denial.
I don’t think it’s “treason.” But it certainly seems, at best, like negligent homicide.
I truly hope that McMaster walked into the bathroom after all of this, took a long look in the mirror at his reflection, and asked himself “why am I protecting this piece of shit?”
was, “as reported,” “false.”
So the gist of the story is true, but the reporting was off a bit.
More lies and distraction from this “Administration.” Messrs. McConnell and Ryan, the ball is in your court. How long can you continue to defend this sort of behavior??
Trump’s shills are braying that the “President has the legal right to declassify information.” What the President does not have the right to do is to lend “Aid and Comfort” to enemies of the United States.
If the Post reports are true, it sure seems to me that our Fake President has provided “aid and comfort” at the very least to Russia and ISIL, and they are indeed our enemies.
In other words, Fake President Trump may well be guilty of treason.
Until now, that has been assumed to mean declassifying to inform the American people.
“You’re damn right I gave the code word intel!”
