That’s fairly typical, for anyone that still wears a watch. You wear it on your “off hand” so you don’t bang it up as much.
He is left handed in that photo…though the watch is on his left hand.
Typically men wear their watch (for those who still wear watches) on their off hand to keep them from getting banged up. Its possible that Obama is a bit ambidextrous, and does some things left handed and some right. I personally throw a frisbee left handed, and can swing a baseball bat about the same either way. Everything else is right handed.

It’s come to our attention that Alison Lundergan Grimes has been exploiting the world’s oldest diversion – breathing – for her own benefit!
And we’ve discovered that, like Barack Obama, Ms. Grimes is unable to overcome her addiction to oxygen.
Is this the kind of weak-willed individual you want representing you in Washington? Vote for McConnell – he can guarantee that not a bit of oxygen has sullied his brain stem.

Yes–except that McConnell is also saying, by not demonstrating his own gun-totin’ bona fides, that weak liberals actually have him out-gunned.

I wished I shared your confidence in that. But to my eyes, this is pretty much how every attack on him has ended up. He just shrugs it off and calls her Obama. He hasn’t responded to a single attack she has made the entire campaign. Nor is he going to bother responding to this one.

Going to happen? It’s been happening every since the day she declared. McConnell’s entire campaign is: She’s Obama. There’s nothing more to it. Putting out that ad doesn’t somehow make it worse. Plus, this is just a stupid attack. Obama shoots guns, Grimes shoots guns so they’re just alike? Pretty weak sauce and could tick off some gun enthusiasts as he’s basically saying that anyone who shoots guns is somehow Obama. Lastly, it’s a twitter image. That’s not exactly going to somehow beat out $700,000 ad buy, certainly not in KY.

If I were president, and I had to take a photo like that just to appease the gun breathers, I wouldn’t even fire it. I’d just hold it and you guys can photoshop the smoke in later.

They’re doing it here in Arizona with Sen. Ann Kirkpatrick, accusing her of carrying Obama’s baggage.
I hear what you’re saying, and I agree, but I’m saying something different. I’m saying that you shouldn’t ever say “I am not _______” if that _________ parrots your opponent’s talking points. It just reinforces the message in the listener’s head even with the word ‘not’ prominently featured.
You attack your opponent and you say what you stand for, but you don’t give the opponent’s attack more mileage in an ad. In a debate? OK. But not in an ad.
No, I agree with you. I think that the campaign she is currently running is insufficient to take him down. All I meant was that the “nyaah, nyaah, OBAMA!!” riposte made him look weak and foolish. That is probably not enough. She needs to go hard at him on Kynect, and I’m not sure she will. I don’t know whey.

She did go after him for his remarks about doing away with Obamacare but keeping Kynect, as did a number of others in the national media.
And it made zero impact in either his polling or hers.
She desperately needs to find something, anything, that will catch Kentuckians attention and stick. Right now he is blowing off any and all attacks with a smug chuckle.
