Gee it seems that good old Mitch has forgotten that the President came to Congress a year ago asking their consent to get involved in Syria. No action was taken by this clown and yet today he is making noise. What an ass of the first order.

Let me guess how this would play out…

GOP : Obama, you need our permission, and you would get it if you asked.
Obama : OK, I’d like your permission
GOP : No. … turns to cameras … Look! Obama can’t lead!

But they won’t vote for any money to pay for anybody who does.

“Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) told CNN
on Wednesday that President Barack Obama should seek congressional
support to strike militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria –
and if he did, he would get it.”

Mitch, every time Obama has tried to do anything you have found a way to block, delay, defund or at a minimum disparage everything Obama has tried to do. Now you expect us to believe you would support him on bombing Syria when a year ago you were attacking him for even considering such a thing? Why don’t I trust you?

Mitch do you expect Obama a to come to you and lay out his plans so that you can blab it all over the air waves?

Don’t go rushing back to DC on Obama’s account, Mitch.

Yes - and the GOP would agree IF Obama forever repudiated and defunded ObamaCare… and the EPA… and immigration. And throw in a resignation in lieu of impeachment.

Sorry, Mitch, you’re not a trustworthy partner here.

Don’t do it, President Obama!

It’s a trap!

I wish his granddaughter would take him to the range when she shoots her uzi.

So the guy who came of age when Kentucky had legal segregation now thinks that the African-American president is doing something right. This guy is a bigot, he has always been a bigot, and he will die a bigot.

You’re making me misty-eyed.

What no impeachement? Is the MIC having a sale on Bunker Buster, what? I’m so confused.

This is my pet rattlesnake. Would you like to pet him?? He is very friendly and loves the attention. lol
I wouldn’t trust mcturtle if I just left his funeral and thought he was still in the box 6 feet deep and covered.

Mitch and his service during the Vietnam War, it’s a dilly!

Good to see everyone is aboard the War Train.

Meanwhile, we continue to snuggle up to Saudi Arabia without confronting the evil they export.

“I can’t think of a more pernicious actor in the region,” British-Pakistani author Mohsin Hamid told me in an interview last year. “The House of Saud has exported this very pernicious form of militant Islam under U.S. watch. Then the United States comes in repeatedly to attack symptoms of this problem without ever addressing the basic issue: Where does it all come from? Who’s at the heart of this thing? It would be like saying that if you have skin rash because of cancer, the best option is to cut off your skin. It doesn’t make any sense.”

The war forever Party ®’s would support continuing the never-ending war that they began with the intention of inflaming the locals and destabilizing the region so that we would be at war with them forever. Holy shit, color me surprised.
We can’t get the Republicans to agree on anything or to help America in the least, but these faux patriots will gladly consent to more war games with all of the death, destruction and unaccountable expense.
That speaks volumes.

Excellent catch UFG! How DO you do it?

I read somewhere that the Saudis are actually cracking down on preachers who preach jihad or the likes by prohibiting them from preaching. And then there is this.

Maybe it’s a start in the right direction.
