My understanding is the only constituents who have benefited from the Republicans have been the Republican funding class that received giant tax breaks. The rest of us face giant deficits and reduced benefits (hell we can’t even fix our roads.) Schools are going to shit and the EPA guy is absolutely hostile to clean water and clean air. Stock portfolios in 401 K plans have dropped around 15% or so since February. Prices are rising because we are paying for an unforced trade war. On top of everything we can’t trust our President to represent the US in his dealings with foreign governments. He will sell us all out for a little gilt. He is probably under the direct control of Putin. All of that adds up to a divine wind facing the Republicans. How is divine wind pronounced in Japanese? Kamikaze.
