Trump is feared. Not respected, feared. He truly represents a Don in the mob to those that oppose or disagree with him. If Trump puts out the word never apologize for anything then that’s the marching order. Cross him and you’ll get the equivalent of a bomb wired to your car ignition. McConnell fears retribution. Everyone in Trump’s orbit fears his wrath. You do what he wants or you will suffer the consequences for disobedience.
This. Millions times this. No Democrats would have survived politically what McConnell has said and done, but for some inexplicable reasons (maybe his totally anti-telegenic look helps in a weird way, I don’t know) he seems to have been praised for being shrewd and savvy instead.
I want the man to die in hell. He deserves it.
