A seven-year-old girl from Guatemala who illegally crossed the US-Mexico border with her father died hours after being taken into custody, US media say.
The girl, who arrived in the US last week as part of a group of migrants, died of dehydration and shock, the Washington Post reported.
The AP news agency quotes border officials as saying she had not had food or water for several days.

My mother, who lives in southern AZ, was taking part in a program to provide Thanksgiving meals for military people deployed to the border. It was sad to hear of those young people being taken from their families at this time of year for no good reason. Hopefully they will think about his actions and consider whether he really supports the military.
Why do I bring this up? Because I posted on social media to not let the regime sweep trumpās snubbing of veterans during Veteranās Day under the rug (which they have done). I was met by opposition who pointed to the increased military budget to refute the claim that trump does not care for the military. But one can throw money at a group that one considers important for political points and influence without caring at all about the actual people. Itās how he has always used people.
