When the Goops were running it ……
remember how they would withhold docs and info from the minority members ? ? ….

Absolutely refuse their requests for any subpoena power ? ? ……

This next committee is going to be ……delicious —

Its an Intelligence Committee so I can understand why they are taking time to comb the stooge files in the GOP drawer.

Why the hell didn’t the Dems use this playbook in Jan 2017? And why the hell is this even permitted under the rules? Can’t Nancy change the rules as she sees fit?

Jordan can just sit down and shut up. Schiff is the Chair.

McCarthy: “We had to wait for the Speaker vote to determine the ratios”
Todd: “The ratios are always the same.”

When you have Sir Fopling Flutter correcting your line of BS, you should know that no one is believing you any more.

McCarthy probably will not appoint any who were members of the committee in the last session so as to avoid the unavoidable reference to their traitorous actions at that time.

Because it is not the right thing to do. That actually still matters, even in DC.

@checkmate2016 - I suspect it’s more a matter of no one on the R side wanting to be on this committee because they are cowards and they don’t want to be associated with the prior R-controlled congress’ obstruction made manifest.

The answer to any question of why Democrats didn’t do something or other to impede getting the truth out is that they’re there to make sure that happens and not there to stonewall, obstruct, fail to cooperate etc.

Because it’s hard enough to find one Republican intelligent enough to serve on any House committee.

Maybe he really was uninformed? That’s a pretty big possibility knowing he’s a Republican…if not for the BS smirk on his face when he said it. Those smirks give it away every time and they are proud of it.

Ah, yes. A return to an old, established strategy whenever the GOP is (happily) thrown out of power.

Remember THIS?

"John Boehner, Republican House leader, offering his plans for Obama’s agenda: “We’re going to do everything — and I mean everything we can do — to kill it, stop it, slow it down, whatever we
can.”

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell
summed up his plan to National Journal: “The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.”

Perhaps dems can just call it “Benghazi hearing for justice” , like republicans name their pollution bills “Air Quality Improvement Plan” ,and then the r’s will come a-runnin’.

He’s waiting for his instructions to be translated from their original Russian.

I just have a feeling Elijah Cummings and Adam Schiff are not-in-the-mood for any b.s. from any republicans appointed. I’m certain Kern County’s “finest” already knows this.
