“Trump’s statement, in my view, is unforgivable, and speaks to the kind of man he is: a coward who has never faced danger in his life, an insecure brat who shirked duty for comfort, and a man who is wholly unfit to serve as commander-in-chief.”
I’m not so sure. I know this is a reference and not plagiarism, but I expect to hear “I’ll tell you who has sacrificed nothing. Crooked HIllary. She sacrifices everyone else…”
I mean really. If this becomes even a bit uncomfortable for him, he will project it onto her.
Upwardly mobile Trump-inclined should note that people seeing your Trump support will not see your high fashions and McMansion but will imagine your bib-overalls and double-wide…
Did the Houston Chronicle really endorse Clinton over Trump? I saw it on Facebook and on The Hill but, I can’t find an actual source/link for the Houston Chronicle.
This may seem like nitpicking but Khan’s speech was so strong and so careful that I do not think one should take even the slightest liberty in quoting him. Khan spoke TO Trump. “You have sacrificed nothing and no one.”
Her grandfather’s not an idiot. He’s a corrupt sonofabitch who looks out for number one and takes the path of least resistence, but he’s not an idiot. My dad served on Forrestal, and though he never had a nice thing to say about McCain, he’d grant him that much.
He actually suspected McCain had decided by the convention that he didn’t really want the gig, but he was too proud and stubborn to admit it. So he chose Palin as a deliberate self-inflicted wound.
Dont even bother to feed the troll. He comes here just for the purpose of agitation. Notice he never responds because he comes her for one purpose only.
I’ll bet there are a lot of GOP office holders, who support Trump in public, but will vote for Hillary in the privacy of the voting booth. No one will ever know.
To Mitt Romney, all of the “Never Trump” Republicans, and the Bernie-bros who can’t bring themselves to vote for Hillary, you should think about these words from Caroline McCain:
But I’ve realized that what matters about my vote is not whether it makes me feel good — it’s about whether it leads to the common good. And I started to realize that for some, “voting your conscience” has become a euphemism for protecting your self interest. An exercise in privilege.
I posted this link earlier in another thread. It’s Mr. Khan on Last Word last night calling out the Rethugliklan leadership by name. Well worth watching.
It’s difficult to fathom how vet or current service member could think Deadbeat Donald would honor “Leave no one behind” as CIC after he made that statement.
