Thats nice McCain, but as usual you aren’t going to do anything about it.

There’s no moral equivalence between the US and Russia but there is widespread moral failure in the GOP.

“There is no moral equivalence between that butcher and thug and KGB colonel and the United States of America,” McCain said from the Senate floor. “To allege some kind of moral equivalence between the two is either terribly misinformed or incredibly biased. Neither, neither can be accurate in any way.”

Just waiting on a sanctions bill.

So Republicans definitely repudiate Putin, right?

“Putin could not have been nicer…I would probably get along with him very well.” – Donald Trump.

“He’s what you call a real leader.” – Rudy Giuliani.

“He’s one of us.” – Pat Buchanan.

“He wrestles bears and drills for oil, and [Obama] wears mom jeans and equivocates.” – Sarah Palin.

“Can we get him in for 48 hours as, you know, head of the United States?” – Fox’s Kimberly Guilfoyle.

“[Russia] has a real leader.” – Fox’s Ralph Peters.

But Putin, at least, repudiates Trump, right?

“An outstanding and talented personality.” – Vladimir Putin.

Putin did more to elect Trump than any Republican. Now we see why, as we watch Trump defend Putin to Republicans.

McCain added, “I stand by my republican president and every bat-shit insane thing that comes out of his mouth. I support him despite him crapping on me and all POWs, because I am a weak shell of myself.” As he ran from reporters, he added that his '08 campaign slogan “Country first” was meant ironically.

Cardin, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, explained that the measure would likely include what’s called a “national security waiver,” a provision typically included in sanctions bills that allows the president to waive the sanctions if doing so is in the interests of the United States.

I’m not sure if that (or any future) bill will have a waiver in it.

If the waiver is in there, then its an invite for Trump.

Yeah, big words, Johnny Boy, but we all know by next week you’ll be sniffing Trump’s ass. ARF!

  • c’mon McCain stop talking - and show some action - if old Barry Goldwater was here he’d march up to Trump and punch him in the jaw
  • and afterwards he would have said “I was going to kick him in the nuts - but he doesn’t have any”

Grampa voted for all of Trump’s less than sterling, some downright frightening ignorant or malevolent, cabinet members. Watch what they do regardless of what they say.

“Putin’s a former KGB agent, he’s a thug, he was not elected in a way that most people would consider a credible election,” [McConnell] said.

Just like Chiselin’ Trump, huh?

Well, sure, there’s no moral equivalence now. But there will be in the future, if Trump gets his way.

Trump: Senile McCain is perhaps right. Russia is morally far superior to America. I wish I was a Russian.

Oh for god’s sake!! It’s flat out treasonous! Just say it. You would if Obama had done anything remotely close to this.

McCain should vote his rhetoric. So far consider me not impressed by the man who always votes with his party and against his country every dang time in support of president bannon.

Mavericky Maverick gonna maverick, and the media falls, hook, line, sinker, for his epic Maverickiness!

Meanwhile, Mavericky Maverick John McCain falls into line, EVERY TIME.

So, hey, in the interest of focusing attention on elected officials who actually matter? Howsa about a moratorium on stories about Mavericky Maverick who is…Not.A.Maverick. Who is, in fact, addicted to his perpetual perch on the Sunday morning metaphorical circle jerks?

Just a thought.

The Senator misunderstands.

His president contends there is an immoral equivalence.
