McConnell is already on record as wanting to bury the investigation in the Senate Intelligence Committee that meets in secret and is controlled by the GOP.
Ryan is on record as dismissing the need for further investigation. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) “has my support” to look into allegations that Russia interfered in the 2016 election. “I’ll leave it up to the administration to describe the circumstances.”
And yet McLame voted for every unqualified Cabinet nominee that Trump proposed. That’ll teach him Johnny!
In all likelihood Michael Flynn or someone else on Trump’s staff is a Russian agent. Have we all forgotten about Sergei Mikhailov, Ruslan Stoyanov, and others in the FSB who were arrested on charges of being US agents? These were likely the human intelligence behind the certainty that Putin was responsible for the election hacking. It doesn’t seem like much of a stretch to think that Flynn ratted out these folks.
