Really? A). We did leave a force behind in Iraq. Perhaps not as big as McCain would have liked, but we did. B). I’m sure the Iraqi’s would have taken more force in their country, but they also threatened to prosecute our soldiers for criminal conduct if they stayed behind.

His thought process must be that because Sunday morning gas bags have had him on a record number of times (and certainly out of proportion with any accomplishments), he must be all knowing and wise. I hope you saw the clip of him questioning two witnesses with similar names about access to migrant children at the border and becoming exasperated because he couldn’t keep their names straight. It’s the quintessential McCain moment.

Of course he can. It’s where his wife’s beer distribution company is :). Also, he has a gorgeous house in Sedona. There are many things wrong with John McCain, but at this point, being a carpetbagger isn’t one of them. Speaking as a former Arizonan, he’s, sadly, one of ours now.

This is a general meme on the right. Stewart needs to be held accountable. Ignoring that he is not a journalist. He says alot that is right and puts journalists to shame but his job is comedy. He does not have the same responsibility.
McCain has been wrong more times than not and few hold him accountable. The same for Fox. And they have a duty to do so.
