Not bad. I’m sure he’ll disapprove of it until it’s time to actually vote on it.
The process–or lack of it–is plenty of reason for a senator to stand up and announce opposition. Will you do that, Senator? You call yourself a maverick–will you show that you are, or will you knuckle under and toady to the leadership, again?
Of course he’s senile, but this is still a shocking thing to say, in light of nobody at the WH having seen the bill. We all know the WH is on a party line with the Kremlin, but here he’s implying the same is true for Kentucky Machiavelli McConnell too.
“We have lost the South for a generation,” President Lyndon B. Johnson supposedly told an aide after he signed the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
If there were any justice in this world, the Republicans would lose the nation for a couple of generations if they pass this piece of shit.
Oh, by the way, your frustration will be duly noted Senator McCain when you vote for it.
Well Johnny… you just keep saying how concerned you are as you vote yes.
Johnny made a joke. Hilarious. Now, why don’t you guys do something about the broader Russian interference/hacking/election theft/cyber-war situation.
Senate Republicans to release healthcare bill Thursday
*We’re going to lay out a discussion draft Thursday morning," McConnell told reporters after a lunch with his fellow Republican senators.
The bill will be brought to the Senate floor once the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has assessed its cost and impact, “likely next week,” McConnell added.*
Today: Grampy with the zinger!
Tomorrow: Yessir Mr. President, anything you say!!!. Please, may I have another?
There are rumors from sources with good track records that McConnell and Ryan conspired to wash Russian funds into the GOP’s coffers. You have to remember how desperate the GOP was for any advantage around the time of their convention. So the implication may be there intentionally, and may even be true.
“I’m sure the Russians have been able to hack in and gotten most of it,” he said.
“That’s why I voted for Trump,” he added.
Fuck You, Sid McCrashcup!
If you can’t tell by now, I really do hate him.
Aside from the compelling need for justice, national security etc. I’d love to see the entire RNC go down in a RICO action just to watch the epic mountain of crow the MSM would have to swallow.
Johnny, you really should call Sara Palin and ask her what SHE would do.
Even an old man yelling at clouds can get a snarky one in every now and then.
“I’m sure the Russians have been able to hack in and gotten most of it."
Did Sarah see them do it from her house?
(And, yes John, that name will be chiseled on your tombstone – indelibly – for all eternity.)
I keep coming back to the Garland blockade. It made no sense at the time. At the time, the smart money said Garland was the best Republicans could hope for because Hillary (or, for that matter, Bernie) might well nominate someone worse after they trounced the ignorant, racist, sexist, disgusting pig of a game show host the Republicans had saddled themselves with. At the time, it seemed irrational and inexplicable. Almost as if he had some bizarre sense of assurance Trump would win that no one else had.
Almost as if he had received secret intelligence that the Russians were trying to rig the election for Trump which he had prevented from becoming public by threatening to denounce it as a partisan smear if released and had some reason to believe it would work.
Aging uselessly, I see.
A smear on Peggy.
