That guy is a TV personality in OZ who specializes in grabbing “nature” by the short and curlies. He is known for grabbing the seriously deadly critters that are in OZ (snakes) making it seem that anyone should do likewise.

I incorrectly IDed a Trump horror last night as “ancient principles” he actually said:
It’s time to bring a clear-eyed focus to foreign affairs, to take a fresh look at the world around us, and to seek new solutions grounded in very ancient truths…Nations have a right to protect their interests…all people have a right to freely pursue their own destiny…that all of us are better off when we act in concert, and not in conflict. And there’s rarely been conflict like we have in the world today — very sad."
I interpret this as Trump chucking everything prior to Trump.

Given the current makeup of the senate, we need at least a few Republicans. This is a pretty small peg on which to hang anything, but my hope is that Trump badgers and alienates a handful of them to such an extent that they just start voting against him out of spite. I know, a guy can dream, right?
