Spoiler Alert Trumpers:
There’s not going to be a wall. They aren’t going to lock up Hillary. Trump won’t make America great again.

Guess who won’t be a sheriff for much longer. Guess.

And yeah, as a Masshole myself, I can definitely say that Bristol County always struck me as the county and are most subject to Teatroll the mindset mindlessness.

Pittsfield.

It’s Wannsee redux!!

(For those of you who don’t know, when Hitler/Eichmann were planning the Endlosung–the Final Solution–they were worried that they couldn’t get industrialists, railway executives et al. to co-operate. When they gathered them at Wannsee to try to convince them to help out, they were shocked at the actual level of great enthusiasm all them showed, wanting to help out in any way they could.)

It’s almost touching and sad in a worrisome way, this level of credulity, like if you were talking to a kid who was 9 or 10 or 11 and realized he or she still believed in Santa.

Hodgson used his inaugural address,

Huh?

Does this guy even know where the border is or is he thinking of the Canadian one.

I’m still not clear on what Mexico’s motivation would be to pay for such a wall.

Oh well, on to the next horrifying, soul-crushing story…

This is a not so gentle reminder even the bluest states have their share of right wing, intellectually bereft citizens in positions of power.

A Massachusetts sheriff is offering up his inmates’ labor to build a wall on the Mexican border for President-elect Donald Trump.

“Send a wire to the main office, tell 'em I said OWWW!!”

Maybe the sheriff is volunteering his own resources to transport and guard them while just north of the southern border.

Attended no doubt by his immediate family and the deputies who have the dubious honor of serving under him.

But he will get all kinds of praise and attention by people who can hire him at top dollar to provide security at such time he decides to retire.

To make fresh produce prices skyrocket in the US.

A rough guesstimate, based on quick reads of some sources that didn’t provide a direct answer, is that Mexico provides about 20% of fresh produce by both value and volume. The percent would vary by season, with higher numbers in winter. Domestic production would drop, too, with the wall and other Trump/GOP policies discouraging immigrant labor.

Mexico isn’t paying for a wall. During the campaign, Trump offered an answer to the question of how he would get Mexico to pay for the wall. It was riddled with erroneous and outdated information, wasn’t workable, and would be much easier for people to work around than for the US to implement (much like the wall itself).

You know your proposal is way way way out there when the Trump transition team doesn’t even respond.
