It’s one thing the person in the ad says and first he talks about various things her challenger and others want to do – I think it is best seen in that context – people like him support that. Clearly, his election won’t really factor in the decision much – the House impeaches and there still is no where close to convict. One more vote won’t do much there.
For many Louisiannans, this will be a reason for vote FOR Landrieu’s opponent. What was she thinking?

From what I’ve seen of Sen. Landrieu she’d vote along with the GOP’ers. She done…let her seat go to the GOP’er. This country inst going to get past its GOP fetish until it gets a good taste of 'em. It’s going to have to get pretty painful in the USA to punch through that GOP / Media construct.
Get rid of her and let it be a message to the rest of the Democrats that lack faith in who they are and what being a Democrat means.

Maybe one of those situations where making the charge now immunizes the event from actually happening (GOP protests vociferously that it has no such intent and then feels it doesn’t dare cast a vote to do so.)
Regardless, Ms. Landrieu is already toast.
A conservative for a blue dog is a net loss for Democrats.

To the best of my knowledge, only Senator Russ Feingold has NOT become a lobbyist or otherwise cashed out with the Oligarchs. Instead he founded ProgressivesUnited and stopped a war in West Africa.

GOP will impeach Obama no matter who wins, and the Senators from Louisiana will both vote in favor of it, no matter who wins

My first thought is that Cassidy will pick up another 10% in the next poll.
All those poo-pooing Blue Dog Democrats don’t realize or care that they vote for the party’s positions an overwhelming majority of the time; they represent constituents who may be “impure and unwashed” to we righteous snoots, but who are Democrats nevertheless; that regetting and keeping Democratic majoritys in Congress requires a bigger and more tolerant tent than many here espouse.
One does not govern by the White House alone, but by every election for every office, every year!
We Democrats can’t rely on demography alone to save us from our indifferent selves!

I could care less if she loses or not. Just like (THE WORST SENATE CANDIDATE AND CAMPAIGN OF ) Michele Nunn. She will deserve her loss and we won’t miss her anyway.
Impeaching Obama would be only trigger The Decade of Biden. Which I would enjoy immensely, I’m sure.
