And none of the corporate media is covering the House vote to change internet privacy rules because they are the first to benefit from elimination of those privacy protections. Companies like Comcast, Time/Warner, Disney…all of them. So far, watching the nightly news on ABC…not one mention of the House vote either tonight.

What they, in this executive order, are saying is that we’re going to be the laggard. We’re not going to compete. We’re going to cede to Germany, to China, the ability to develop these new clean energy technologies, which will then proliferate and create jobs all across the planet, just not here in the United States of America.

Beautiful job, Markey (who was my Representative when I was on the other coast).

Next time, though, “they” should be specified – something like “Trumpp and his cabinet of fat cats,” and use terms like “retreat” and “surrender” and “choose to lose” instead of phrasing with “cede.”
