“There’s no transparency, and he is so ashamed of what he’s done, he’s not willing to speak up and explain to us what happened.”

The troll goes on.♫ the troll goes on♬

Cuban always struck me an obnoxious, loud-mouthed blowhard. Considering tRump moved that description several decimal places to the right (so to speak), it is great to see Cuban use his superpowers for good.

Absolutely - no doubt that the “LOSS” was simply valuation calculations on paper … and beneath it all - was pumped up with skewed estimates of the ‘worth’ of various ‘assets’ - - and was all mostly smoke & mirrors.

ALWAYS REMEMBER - “LOSSES” do not necessarily equal “REAL MONEY”

Well, he’s hiding something, if not many, many things. Failure, fraud and cheat, these are Trump’s business credentials.

I’ll say it’s all of the above and that creates the need for secrecy.
Everything that HO did tax wise has the essence of scam or cheat attached to it.

He’s cheated us out of more than a billion dollars, that isn’t OK and something that we just let slide.
He needs to bend over, grab his wallet and cough.

Here’s geo’s confession: I’ve become a fan – and never imagined it would happen. The guy is a super quick-witted and knows what he’s talking about, even if we may not agree all the time.

Mark … who ? ? —

Mark Cuban is an obnoxious loud-mouth. He’s also a genuinely smart businessman who’s built a fortune for himself and others over the years. Credit where it’s due: he’s as much of a jackass as the rest of us, but he’s a smart jackass.

I agree. I respected Cuban’s comments after the debate. The ashamed comment while laughable does bring up a point. When those casino’s failed. Trump was in a huge down position. It almost destroyed him. Desperate means for desperate times is the saying isn’t it?

A Yinzer that made good. That he doesn’t suffer fools gets him in difficult social situations.

Words like “ashamed” will set trigger Trump. He is never wrong, never mistaken, never sorry, and certainly never ashamed. Look for another Trumpty-Dumpty meltdown soon.

I think the bit about Trump being ashamed actually goes back to a point Cuban has been making over and over, that Trump isn’t worth nearly as much as he claims and is embarrassed by how little he actually made last year.

Nah, see, you don’t have to imagine it. It doesn’t have to be true.

Trump will still rise to take that bait and insist he’s not ashamed of anything. He’s proud of how he’s avoided paying taxes, and the American people want to be just like him.

That’s his response, you wait.

When Phil Jackson coached the Lakers, he used to troll Cuban (a very vocal owner of the Dallas team) in the press just to pull his chain. Cuban would respond, and usually came off second best. Unlike Trump, it never seemed as if Cuban took it personally, though it did bring out his competitive side.

Yup. Cuban’s very easy to troll at/during Mavericks’ games, and he’s been fined more than once for tweeting during the game in response to the officiating etc. That said, he does seem to take that in stride as just part of the competition of the NBA.

This!

Just like Donald Trump, Cuban realized that being an obnoxious jackass is great for building his public persona.

Unlike Donald Trump, he seems completely aware of what he is doing, and doesn’t say the kind of irredeemable stuff Trump does, and unlike Trump, he isn’t an asshole or an idiot.

No waiting required. That’s already the response. The word “genius” falling out of the mouth of his surrogates is no coincidence… clearly the campaign issued a memo saying that’s the spin they want on it.
