Discussion: Manafort-Linked PAC Failed To Report $1 Million And The FEC Wants To Know Why

So Citizens United would not lead to foreign money being injected into our elections, huh, Judge Alito?

Too understated for a Trump property, of course.

“Manafort-Linked PAC Failed To Report $1 Million…”

How much is that in rubles?

So do we know this contribution was actually from him on that date, or is that just what they put down? It sounds like an awfully convenient just-pre-election date.

The core of Trump’s business support in California comes from real estate developers. Geoffrey Palmer, whose company owns 10,000 units of housing, was identified as the country’s largest individual Trump donor, giving $2 million to the Rebuilding America Now super PAC. Palmer was relatively unknown in political circles, and had become involved in the Trump campaign through his friend, Thomas Barrack.

I’m willing to bet that Palmer is also linked to Barrack and Broidy’s middle eastern ventures in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Any takers?

A super PAC closely linked to Paul Manafort is facing questions about why it failed to report a $1 million donation received just before the 2016 presidential election.
…
Palmer, a longtime GOP donor who gave millions to the Trump campaign, made the donation in question on Oct. 31, 2018, according to amended FEC report.

When did he donate? 2016 or 2018?

Tax wealth.

Anybody who can throw out a million bucks to a thieving politician is certainly not paying enough to support the country. Better for this money to go to the national treasury to make needed investments.

Every cent donated to every politician in the country should be reported publicly, stipulating who gave it and who in the hell they really are. I mean real backgrounders with resumes, curriculum vitaes and high school yearbooks of all these PACs, corporations, think tanks, off shore banking setups and foreign nationals.

The corruption in this country is beyond ridiculous. It was legalized by John Roberts and his conservative partners in crime five years ago. It’s about time they all were badgered in public every time they show their faces just like Stephen Miller, Sarah Huckabee and Kellyanne. Alito should be horsewhipped for his outburst at the SOTU a few years ago. Who in the hell do they think they are? Too good for a guillotine?

If we are going to impeach Trump, add these crooks to the petition for removal as well.

Again, ALL campaign donations should come in to the IRS (every penny recorded and from whom it was contributed) , to be distributed to the campaign manager… who is responsible for accounting for its further distribution and use. IRS can let FEC know exactly how much it received, and more importantly, how much is permitted to be spent. My version of ‘catch and kill’.

Isn’t it strange?

We have to prove our citizenship (to the government’s satisfaction) to be eligible to vote. But, evidently, I can buy the government and the country, and keep my confederates hidden.

Until it’s too late.

Who was the comedian who joked candidates should wear patches showing their sponsors, just like NASCAR drivers? I thought that was a brilliant idea.

It’s low-rent Trump-style decorating.

People of low class and less intellect see this shit and say to themselves “Boy Howdy! That’d look good in my trailer.”
