Who cares what the spokes-hack has to say.

Mueller has the goods on Manafort, and he is almost certainly to be in jail permanently after June 15. The only thing I donā€™t understand is why the Judge is waiting this long. The hearing ought to be right after Manafort files his response. I guess she is being careful, but this is a second strike for Manafort, after he violated her orders by ghost writing an ed-op in the Hillā€¦

Technical observation: I guess when you think about it approximately four-fifths of the Italian language rhymes with itself.

Itā€™s hardly that bad.

With good behavior, Manafort could be out in a mere 115 years ā€“ 130 topsā€¦

Looks like that funding account for Paulieā€™s legal bills set up by his ā€œfriendsā€ is going to be eaten up a lot faster than he thought.

Yes, thatā€™s why Dante is overrated, you see.

Manafort probably has not agreed to pay the attorneys for handling the latest charges. So, they simply are referring to the old charges.

I just hope he checks the organ doner box, that way when he gets shanked, someone at least gets a little good out of his miserable life. My guess is that prisoners feel similarly about traitors as they feel about child molesters.

But seriously going one level deeper, the entire ā€œreach out to a russian agent to try to tamper with witness testimonyā€ gig is just stunning. It shows a lack of self control, and also lack of awareness of what Moeller is doing that is just amazing. Manifort is acting like a caged animal, not like some guy who thinks Trump is going to save him. He is not some guy who is going to willingly live out the rest of his life in prison garb, in a 8 by 8 sell with another prisoner, eating meals that cost $1.06 per day.

Not if he is pardoned. The big question, of course, is can someone be pardoned before being convicted of something? It just doesnā€™t seem possible. Although Ford pardoned Nixon, but that was after impeachment.

If Manafort is ā€œinnocentā€, then there would be no reason to contact witnesses in order to get their stories in line with his own. It appears that the witnesses Manafort contacted went to Muellerā€™s team because they felt pressured by Manafort to perjure themselves. That doesnā€™t sound ā€œinnocentā€.

And a new suit

I have a feeling Mr Manafort, like many people; is ignorant of how easy it is to trace someoneā€™s digital foot steps like heā€™s Hansel & Gretel.

And a new hobby.

Nixon was never impeached, just warned that he would be, so you can be preemptively pardoned.

Time to cuff him and stuff him.

Get a rope for this traitor. Right after he gives up Trump.

I think the key thing to note about Manafort is that his strategy since the Gates plea has been to beat back some charges, score some wins, make himself into a GOP hero for ā€˜fighting backā€™ and position himself for a pardon or another move to quash the investigation. Itā€™s also important to note that Putin is actively helping Manafort to beat his rap by allowing Kilimnick to assist him. I also strongly suspect Putin has been working over Simona Mangiante. Putin is actively interfering in the Mueller investigation to help Trump. If there are intel intercepts on this, the IC should find a way to let the public know. David Corn or Natasha Bertrand would be good people for them to talk to.
