Trump may give it a go (what’s he have left?) but it’s not going to work for him. Too much evidence, too much institutional momentum.
Manafort has destroyed himself and his family and whatever doom he faces he has earned. Sorry about his family but there might be some enabling there, they just didn’t realize the consequences. I don’t see a pardon in Manaforts future. Once Gates flipped Manafort became irrelevant. Manafort will do hard time and die in prison, forgotten by all his former “friends”.
