Thanks god he had a gun to protect his rights to play completely fair battleship and teach his daughter not to cheat(even if he might have been drunk and wrong)

Utah…game of Battleship…68-year-old man…17-year-old daughter…trailer…dragged her back by her hair…pointed the loaded rifle at her head…suspicion of intoxication…

The story seems to hang together. Makes sense to me.

And in other Republican voter news…

Good Rightie Con “family values” on display. Cons put the ‘dick’ in ridiculous!

A proud Papa standing his ground: “You sank my battleship…ungrateful little bitch ~burp!~!”

This is sick on so many levels.

But, by God and by the GOP, don’t touch my guns…

Not so much, but you have to ask anyway. Unfathomable depths of stupidity were at play there.

It warms the cockles of my heart to think of this man spending quality time with his daughter that for the most part did not involve a firearm.

If articles like this are put here for the purpose of supporting gun control then it is a poor attempt. Anecdotal cases like this don’t prove anything, and frankly are insulting. Just think about when you see some right-wing site or news outlet take a far-out but real occurrence and use it as proof of whatever right wing idea they espouse at the time.

So a 51 year old guy had a child. So what?

This guy is obviously stupid, crazy, drug-addled, or something like that, and thus a menace to society – but not because he fathered a child at age 51.

Thanks, NRA, for yet another display of “responsible gun ownership.” We are so effed.

Absolutely right. He was just standing his ground.
