Discussion: Man Pleads Guilty To Defacing Banksy Murals In Utah

Discussion for article #227738

“At a hearing Monday, Noll wore a tie decorated with a Norman Rockwell painting that shows the artist sitting at a canvas, looking in a mirror and painting himself.”

Lucky he wasn’t wearing a Thomas Kinkade tie or the judge might have thrown the book at him.

This guy’s no true artist, just a wannabe.
An artist would never destroy another artist’s work, no matter what they thought of it.

Is Noll a frustrated artist or a vile shitheel. You decide. Nevermind, he’s a vile shitheel.

You may be giving the judge too much credit.

A mural showed up not too far from where I live, that people thought must have been a Banksy. Soon as Banksy denied having done it, the mural was toast.

Man, I hear you. I have seen some beautiful box cars rolling through my town.

I hear you too. Regular boring taggers are vandals but some of those people do great stuff. I suppose they shouldn’t, technically, but if you put a wonderful piece of art on a boxcar the world is a slightly better place.
