I wasn’t aware they changed the music in It’s A Small World for the holidays. That would certainly push the punishment well over the edge into realm of extremely cruel and inhumane.

Which raises an interesting question: What if “repeatedly not following park rules” is the political content - i.e., what if, in a the-media-is-the-message sense, repeatedly being an asshole is the political message?
I mean, seriously, being an asshole full-time seems to be the only consistent and coherent political message / stance advocated by Trumpism/Conservatism/Republicanism.

There was a great SNL skit back in the day about people stranded on a boat when It’s a Small World broke down. One of the passengers decided to swim for help and was promptly electrocuted. The dolls stopped singing and started chanting “one down, five to go” and it was the greatest thing ever.

Boy is that right. My guess is that this guy and the vast majority of Trump supporters would have trouble articulating any actual policy or position they support besides stop immigration and Trump for king. It is a lot more like hating your high school football team’s arch rivals and stealing their mascot than actually supporting any kind of coherent ideology. There just isn’t anything there besides hating whoever FOX tells you to hate.
I never realized Idiocracy was as prophetic and visionary as it now appears to be. We are all truly dumber than we were 2 years ago.
