I am sure Twitty will comment about “good people on both sides” any minute.

For those of you who missed Hitler’s Germany, welcome to Trump’s America.

If you click through you’ll see this genius marked up at least one obviously Christian grave. You’re supposed to target the Jews, you pisher. Can’t even Nazi good. And I know it’s going to be like every single last one of these losers—when we see him he’ll be this skinny, scrawny, jackalish-looking loser who looks like he never put on a shirt with a collar in his miserable life.

I’m sure someone from the “intellectual dark web” could have pointed out the error, thus avoiding some embarrassment.
Bari Weiss, you there?
This man was triggered by libtards.

Life Imatates art: “Illinois Nazis are the worst!”

Unless they already have an ordinance against defacing gravestones I’m going to guess the penalty will be pretty minimal.

“Graffiti”, maybe?

Anyone know what the law is there?

Edwardsville police announced on Facebook that a 34-year-old man was apprehended on Saturday.

Really? Is FB now the default public announcement forum? I suppose they could have just tweeted.

Sure hope he didn’t get any paint on his “Make America Great Again” hat.

I don’t know the law there but there’s a lot of things you could get the guy with. Criminal mischief comes to mind. Even for a misdemeanor a lot of times the maximum penalty is pretty stiff. And there’s really no good story to tell about defacing gravestones. This is not a couple of kids breaking windows at the abandoned factory. This is defacing gravestones on Memorial Day weekend. If he’s a chronic screwup, which is probably the case, it might not go well.

From Illinois Statutes, Cemetary Protection Act
(765 ILCS 835/1)

Looks like he could have some problems…

(b-5) Any person who acts without proper legal authority and who willfully and knowingly defaces, vandalizes, injures, or removes a gravestone or other memorial, monument, or marker commemorating a deceased person or group of persons, whether located within or outside of a recognized cemetery, memorial park, or battlefield is guilty of a Class 4 felony for damaging at least one but no more than 4 gravestones, a Class 3 felony for damaging at least 5 but no more than 10 gravestones, or a Class 2 felony for damaging more than 10 gravestones and shall provide restitution to the cemetery authority or property owner for the amount of any damage caused.

A Class 2 Felony jail sentence is for 3 to 7 years. Fines can be up to $25,000.

There is felony level damage done if some ambitious Assistant DA thinks it might enhance his career opportunities. It depends on which way the local wind is blowing.

Johnson says crews were called to clean the markers ahead of Memorial Day.

Cemetery Super with brains - and common sense. Always nice to see.

“While clearly his reaction was a little extreme, it was the fault of liberals for calling him a racist.”

Hey Nazi Boy, these markers are a little bit easier to tell apart.

Tomorrow, on Memorial Day, I’m going to put out the flag, the way I usually do. And I’ll do it to honor the brave Americans who died in the fight against fascism, and in spite of the ugly racist assholes who arrogate to themselves the label of “patriot”.

And definitely not all cotton button down. But that’s always been the way. What bothers me is “This is not a couple of kids breaking windows at the abandoned factory.” It’s become far more serious than just a couple of mixed-up kids, high school cut-ups acting out. Maybe it’s the media? Confusing either way. What I’m sure of though is this is too much of Trump’s influence and we better take it back pronto.
