I am failing to see the problem.
I see a problem as the story does not make much sense. The State supposedly raided his apartment, OK so far. Then the investigators left behind documents that implicate PP in wrongdoing, yea right. That part just does not cut the mustard as what investigator will arrive with any document other than the warrant. Someone is lying here and for the life of me I donât see it being the investigators.
Maybe they had a warrant only for the videos. If the charge theyâre investigating relates solely to unauthorized filming, that would make sense - the other documents wouldnât be relevant.
Lying â falsely identifying yourselfâŚ
Cheating â selectively splicing videoâŚ
Stealing â my tax dollars to catch your sorry assâŚ
âŚisnât journalism. The First Amendment protects me from predators.
Unfortunately they canât charge him with the real damage this idiot has incurred. I shudder to think at all those who have had to suffer from the ripple effects of his âjournalismâ.
Conservatives: Whatever we do is always legal. We can break any law and are not accountable to anyone. If we are caught, we will play victims.
FOX: Right On.
UmmmmmmmmmâŚâAn anti-abortion activist who made undercover videos at Planned Parenthood clinicsâŚâ Zip your pants buddyâŚthatâs the only way YOU are going stop what you âperceiveâ is happening at these clinics. You donât get to use the big bad government you rail against to aid you in your unicorn hunt.
Hang him. This doesnât have shit to do with the First Amendment or is it âpolitically motivatedâ. Itâs about forgery. If PP was as bad as this man wants you to think ( and his motives are politically motivated ) he wouldnât have to fake documents and alter video in order to show it. You do that when you donât have a strong position.
Fuck his rights. He forfeited them when he conspired to defraud others out of theirs.
Thatâs a bullshit claim by a guy on the edge. If they left those documents âbehindâ then the asshole still has them. But are we to think he has these incriminating docs but is just too nice to post them all over the world? Thatâs attorney coached crap just like âwe welcome this investigationâ or âthe charges are categorically falseâ.
This scumbag deserves no sympathy. He engaged in a phony exercise and was caught. Letâs see what the investigation turns up. He needs to go to jail.
Indeed. By âraidedâ, he means they searched his place with a warrant. Sounds squarely within the Constitution to me.
Hmmm⌠I always enjoy saving these articles⌠In a couple weeks or months, I can link back to it when a story posts of âCalifornia Grand Jury indictsâŚâ
It must be difficult to be a press secretary for one of the LEO organizations. Saying âNo Commentâ for months, then trying to keep the smugness out of your voice when you finally announce chargesâŚ
Iâd be, âOh yeah, remember that asshole who said we were trampling all over his rights when we executed that legal warrant? He was all, 'Ohhhhh⌠the government is prosecuting me for spreading the TRUTH! Yeah, 47 child porn charges⌠Aaaaaannnn ya BURNT!â
The âobjectiveâ AP style really makes this story hard to understand. Man who created fraudulent enterprise in order to make surreptitious videos that he claimed show unlawful behavior is served a search warrant for evidence of his unlawful behavior in making the videos. No real surprise here.
For the police to seize âevidenceâ that Planned Parenthood did something unlawful, theyâd have to be in the process of investigating whether Planned Parenthood did something unlawful. But theyâve already closed that investigation and decided no crime was committed. If the jerkwad truly believes a crime was committed and he has evidence of it, itâs his civic duty to bring that evidence to the police, not to wait for a warrant to be served on him.
Ahh, poor baby! What did you expect?! Donât mess with Kamala or her state!
Hope to see this asshole behind bars and for decades.Screw him and his whining .
This tired meme sums it up nicely.
They stole his porn stash!
BwahahahahaâŚsuck it! And by all means, turn over those documents that âimplicateâ PP in illegal behavior. I guarantee that heâd have to have violated several more laws to be in possession of something that could really do so, i.e., medical or business records.
I bet heâs really referring to fluff, like interview notes from people like that woman who worked for the tissue harvesting company, who clearly was either a disgruntled ex-employee, a plant or both.
California Attorney General Kamala Harris is going to make one kick-ass California U. S. Senator.
