If I’m not mistaken Minnesota has a huge African immigrant population who are mostly Muslim. Be prepared to see stories about rampaging in their communities because surely, the twisted thinking will go, the newcomers are at the bottom of all and any possible attacks.

About 30K Somali refugees and their families have settled in MN since the early 90s. A few of the youngsters have had the “Alienation Blues” and have signed up for Jihad.

Perhaps calculated to pressure Democratic senators to drop their filibuster of the funding bill and President Obama to sign it (viz. article “Republican Governors…”). If he does, he guts his executive order re. immigrants.
If President Obama vetos the bill, as he said he would, then he doesn’t take the threat of Islamic terrorism seriously and can’t be trusted to protect Murca and its interests. This distrust should also extend to his nuclear negotiations with Iran, and Bibi will be coming soon to tell us so. The pressure on Democratic senators to override his veto of the Homeland Security funding bill is being increased; ditto for the pressure on Democratic senators to vote for increasing sanctions on Iran and to override the President’s expected veto.

Thanks for the specific number CandiRue, I was going to say it is huge only in the minds of the right-wing bigots, which I know for sure is not littlegirlblue. I generally love her posts, so somehow she just stumbled on some bad data.
What we do proudly have in Minnesota is the only muslim member of Congress, Keith Ellison, a very erudite man and hard-working liberal. We’re proud of him.

Hey Al_Fisher, No offense intended in what I posted. I stumbled on something about African immigrants in Minnesota, and I shouldn’t have said “huge”, but there are enough African immigrants in a particular St. Paul neighborhood, according to what I read, that it is called Little Africa. I have nothing but respect for people who come here to a country which is unlike any place they’ve ever known and succeed (and even get a call to act in a Tom Hanks movie).
