I am going to take the high road and hope that the treatments are successful, and perhaps he learns a little bit of empathy for others who are suffering. (Since I have no influence on Fate, in whatever form one wishes to see that, my hopes aren’t likely to have much effect on either score.)

But we paid for that heart transplant and his getting that heart probably meant someone else died. No medical protocols for a 71-year-old getting a heart transplant, let alone jumping the line.

This is a man who runs the only non union hotel in Las Vegas yet praises Israeli unions. Wanted to toss 32 million Americans off of health insurance yet is a big fan of the Israeli health care system which is a hybrid of public and private and insures everyone. When he meets his maker the devil himself ought to give extra pokes with his fork.

I was thinking a reason for a 100% inheritance tax is that the 99% already has one in the form of end-of-life medical expenses, so why should the top 1% get away with it (in addition to giving their progeny the gift of the dignity of having to make it on their own)
