Nobody in Louisiana calls the State Treasurer Jack. He’s John Neely Kennedy, hack and opportunist.

Details, details !

what is it with good upstanding Louisiana Christian family values republicon pols and hookers…? is it an addiction of depravity? or just somethin to do …and as far as sueing people who write slanderous books about politicians hell Obama could make more from such law suits than from ALL his speaking engagements for the next year…here that d’ suza and corsi

“Mr. Brown either made up the story or he’s peddling political garbage that he knew or should have known is false," the statement continued. “It’s easy to spread hateful lies about others, but it’s not easy to defend it under oath while facing the prospects of perjury. This lie will be exposed and those responsible will be held accountable.”

Of course, if you want to publicly accuse Hillary Clinton of whoring around behind Bill's back that's different.

This seems like a really stupid thing to do. The case won’t be heard until well after the election, and then there will be discovery.

Nobody ever lost money betting that a Rethugliklan could be really, really, really stupid.

After leaving the Jindal administration, Faircloth earned $1.1 million on no-bid contracts. (Wikipedia).

Faircloth lost most of the lawsuits instituted by Jindal against federal policies, so I don’t why Boustany would see him as a winner. Even if he wins, I don’t see how the suit is a plus, because it will keep the prostitute story in the headlines.

I guess in the meantime he can claim it is false and he has put his legal money where his mouth is. I guess that is the most effective thing he can do.

Part of the suit says that the book hurts his electoral chances. Does that mean that if he loses the election and wins the suit, the publisher has to guarantee that he’s elected next time? Or do they have to fork over the value of the graft that a louisiana politician could reasonably expect from the office?

I know Ethan Brown. Unfortunately he rented my house in the French Quarter- He and his wife painted all of the beautiful historical colors inside the house black and white- He is a liar and probably deserves to be sued.
