Discussion: Longshot GOP Senate Candidate And Oregon Paper Co-Star In BlahBlahBlahGate

Yes, but the real question still remains: Will the Easter bunny be visiting Benghazi with Hilary, and will they be denying climate change?

I hope Faux News checked this guy’s opinions on “the Negro” before jumping on his bandwagon.

A news paper enforces a totalitarian regime? Sp now the US is ruled by a news paper? Well then no wonder Fox News is interested. Roger Ailes wants to be dictator!

This was a classic question. Should go down in the annals of smackdowns.

I don’t know whether to complain that anyone gives this guy any ink or air time, or be happy that it shows the kind of person the party attracts. Voters should be on alert that in comparison to this looney, other candidates with as off the wall views appear reasonable and acceptable by comparison.

Well bless your ‘heart’ Fox. Just because a guy is a dick does not make him a ‘good’ candidate. Be very careful who you pick. This guy is beyond the pale. What another 5 minutes for his ‘Bundy’ moment.

This guy was already being a jerk before the one-hour mark. At 53:00 mins he was already whining about lack of equal time. Also, at 57:00, he laid out his whack job bonafides, saying he would cut the Dept of Education, the “out of control,” “rogue,” “Obama’s Gestapo” EPA. And also turn over control of the Dept to Energy to industry.

Foxemo - The next display of ragged emotion that distracts from the previous one.

It’s a story tailor made for the Fox audience: a GOPer claiming the preciousssss victimhood they seek at all times.

I agree that they guy is a typical Tea Party tool, but if I was being interviewed by someone who was writing “blahblahblah” while someone was answering questions I would be pretty ticked off myself. I think he did the right thing to challenge him on it.

Per the authoritative Dictionary of Derp:

totalitarian regime”, noun, meaning any actual or apparent organization with at least one individual in it that appears likely either to treat you as a complete or substantial foof, or to treat one or more statements you have made as complete foofery … you foofing foof.

If you listen to the tape, she insisted on responding to a question on healthcare and went into a long off-topic speech about the Federal budget. So imagine the reporter seeking to compare people’s positions on topic x when she is talking about something else.

When someone says something absurd, how can he expect to be taken seriously? Would anyone want someone this absurd in government?

I am as liberal as they come…but that reporter or reporters deserved a smack in the mouth, what a pompous tool…it was like he was talking to a 3rd grader!!

Anyone wanna take bets as to when he’s caught saying something racist, homophobic, antisemitic, misogynistic or all the above?

Yeah, 'cause all the best totalitarian regimes have newspapers that interview even long-shot candidates before publishing recommendations based on those interviews.

Note that a newspaper is a privately-owned business and can be politically biased if it wants to be (this guy seems to like FOX okay). What it can’t be is a totalitarian regime.
