Discussion: Long Island Brothers Arrested After Weapons Cache, Nazi Flags Found At Home

“Germans?”

“Forget it, he’s rolling.”

Yeah, the bomb stuff is problematic. But I think the one guy having a bench warrant out for him was probably the thing that precipitated the visit.

ETA: Whoops, sorry, didn’t see anything about bomb materials, just instructions. Not sure if that’s anything but suspicious. Stockpiling weapons isn’t technically illegal but it’s sort of culturally weird and I imagine can get the cops asking whether there’s any peccadillos in the purchasing, any indication you might be selling on the black market, all that. When has anyone ever said to a visitor, “The neighbor? Oh, great guy. Keeps the yard immaculate, would lend you anything, stockpiles weapons, no problem at all.”

The reason the GOP can only agree to allow a VOTE on the ban on arms sales to people on the suspected terrorist watch list is because they are concerned about the due process rights of this part of their constituency.

The police had a warrant—they didn’t break into a home.

And a lot of that stuff is not legal to own.

Take your trolling to Stormfront, where all your best friends will welcome you.

This is freaking ridiculous.

They had “$42,000 in cash, six assault rifles, a handgun, a shotgun, four rifles, a stun gun, and a black binder filled with instructions on how to build a bomb… a racist manifesto… photos of Adolf Hitler, flags with swastika insignias and books about white power.”

… but the reason they’re going to jail is drugs & mushrooms.

WTF America. WTF.

Sounds Polish, not German.

Those charges are what could be used immediately to take them into custody. Surely the investigation into what they intended to do with that stash is on-going.

A song comes to mind: “Would you be mine, Could you be mine, Won’t you be my neighbor?”

On the contrary. New York State law bans the manufacturing, transporting, disposing of, or possessing an assault weapon in the state.

Sure, as long as there are no plans for an Anschluss some dark night.

I meant stockpiling in the U.S. generally, and it obviously wouldn’t apply to locally illegal stuff, but I did forget about New York’s laws in regard to these clowns. Just read there’s something poetically dubbed the “Iron Pipeline” to bring weapons illegal in states like New York up from the southern states where it’s no problemo.

I just wanted to clear up any notions that the only “crimes” these two were committing related to dope and magic mushrooms.

I don’t understand. Were they secret Muslims?

$42,000 in cash might be a problem. Did they get it from a former Speaker of the House?

Actually it’s interesting because you get in the habit of assuming everything’s legal everywhere, but there are states and municipalities with surprisingly strict laws.

Surely, there must have been a Koran somewhere amongst the pile of weapons, because Drumpf insists that all terrorists are muslims.

It was a spelling error, should have been bare arms.

a black binder filled with instructions on how to build a bomb.

Sigh. I miss the days when all we had to worry about were binders full of women.

I suppose they do get some points for neatness. My bomb-making instructions are scattered all over the place.

It’s simply too late. Assault weapons are everywhere and in the wrong hands, and it will take forever to get them off the streets. All we can do is brace ourselves for more bad news.
