Oooh, Brave Lindsey appearing on Fox to take the tough questions.
Your words are lies, Foghorn. Your peeps wanted to impeach President Obama for wearing a tan blazer and holding coffee. And for being a Bllll—ah President. Bless your heart, you simpering shitbird.
? I missed that. I know I shouldn’t, but at times I find Lindsey’s devolution, after his decade + evolution post House Manager role, very disconcerting. Then I remind myself he is reverting to form and is a perfect tool GOPer.
I thought I had the story bookmarked but I cannot find the two stories I thought I bookmarked last night.
He went off on Islamic terrorism at a women’s conference and the entire audience was looking at each other saying What the fuck is he talking about? It was insane.
Remember this sanctimonious dork during the Clinton impeachment? Impeachment talk was Viagra to him and his playdate pal, Asa Hutchinson. Both of them now fall in line behind the molester-in chief and his lackeys and apologists.
Lindsey would back Trump regardless … there is Nothing that would cause Lindsey to exercise objectivity or integrity … Trump could burn crosses on the White House lawn, pistol execute immigrant children, order the deed to the White House to be signed over to Trump corporation … and Lindsey would still defend Trump - because it is his only link to retaining power.
Of course, our brave Sir Lindsey states this on FoxNews, because if he had gone on CNN or MSNBC they would have played the tapes of him saying that Bill Clinton should be drawn and quartered for a blowjob during the impeachment trial of 1998, and poor Lindsey shouldn’t have to defend his hypocrisy on national television.
Lyin’ Lindsey was part of the stampede that tried to convict President Clinton after spending $47 million to find out something about a cigar.
Mueller’s investigation actually financially benefited the U.S. government (with the money recovered from Manafort) while netting 30-plus indictments and six or seven pleas and convictions on dozens of crimes. It also laid out for the nation a massive attack by a hostile power on the core of our sovereignty, the willingness of Trump’s campaign to work with and benefit from that attack, and 10 or 11 attempts by Trump to obstruct the investigation.
On purely constitutional grounds, the entire Congress should join a stampede toward this time. I understand why Pelosi and others are concerned about the politics of impeachment. As the only non-traitorous party, the Dems actually are in a tough spot. But I don’t think they should shirk their constitutional duty.
