…and he’s not embarrassed???

I kind of feel sorry for him. This relatively sane, experienced, educated senator tried like all get-out to win support by picking a righteous fight with the blowhard, bankrupt real-estate developer who’s now wiping Lindsey’s face off his shoes like so a small speck of dog shit.

Still, I’m sure his campaign will take off any day now.

Graham is relevant only because he’s still in the Senate and will presumably run for reelection. He’s not crazy, except when it comes to thinking every foreign policy problem can be solved by bombing. Still, as impossible as it was to beat him last year, maybe he’ll be embarrassed enough from this campaign to either not seek reelection or he’ll be vulnerable enough for some decent candidate to challenge him.

But no, there’s no point in him running except to not be the first clown tossed from the car.

I’d feel sorry for him except there is this aspect to the GOP Klown Kar: You helped build that, Senator.

Granted he aimed his fire correctly this time.

I don’t think it will be embarrassment that factors into a choice not to run in 2018, it will be disgust with the GOP.

Graham is about as leadership and establishment as a GOPer can get, and yet the RNC has dissed him at every turn. I think there is a very good chance that he won’t run again, that essentially this campaign was a campaign to be SecDef for someone as his final public service job.
