Oh yeah, he did himself no favors at all with this comment. Not that he was going anywhere anyway. I believe he is polling 4th or 5th in SC…his home state!
Lindsay is campaigning for either a Veep or a SecDefense position. He survived his 2014 campaign, but things are not looking good for Ayotte and McCain, so Graham is breaking away from the 3 Amigos while he still can.

So let me understand this correctly. What he is saying is that if elected he will pay back his financial backers by appointing all his cabinet member from one special interest group. Doesn’t this disqualify him to run for President? Or am I being naive?

We now have a new definition of the worst kind of pandering. The funny thing that Graham does not realize is that the majority of Jews are loyal Democrats. And who don’t vote strictly on their religion unlike Teabaggers and Fundies. The only Jews who do vote primarily on religion (i.e. Israel) are orthodox Jews who are of course a minority of the Jewish population. And who Baptists always think represent all Jews.

Sadly, the next time he is invited to appear on Meet The Press (very soon I am sure) Chuck Todd will tiptoe around this for a couple of minutes and quickly move onto “Aren’t Hillary’s emails wrong?”.Whereas if a Democrat had said something ludicrous like this, he would immediately put them on the defensive.

Not likely…and Gallup is a shell of its former self as a polling outfit. If you want Adelson money or a few billionaire hedge fund managers on Wall Street, then yeah. But don’t count on American Jewish voters to turn to the Republican party in the next election or near future, even as it relates to Israel. Most hate what Bibi hath wrought.
They say the same bullshit during every Presidential election and the needle has barely moved in Jewish support for Republicans since way back. Its still firmly in the Democratic camp. Last time Jews in the US even considered voting for a Rethug was in 1920…and I seem to have to keep posting this fact because the media wants you to assume we are gettable ® votes.
And the last person that Jewish people would turn to is that SC flake…and he sure is a special kind of snowflake at that.
