Are there enough white men out there to support Trump? I know lots of white men who will NEVER vote Trump.

WHAT THE fckety fck???

Corey, hereā€™s an idea: if you have to throw red meat to the ONLY damn base you have left, you. are. finished.

Has anyone noticed the resounding lack of encouragement for Rumpā€™s foreign adventure from the GOP establishment? Thatā€™s because they realize that theyā€™ve lost the Latino/Hispanic vote for a generation on the national level.

Donā€™t bother doing an autopsy, GOP. Nothing left to recover.

Thank FSM for President Obama and his drug-dealing skills! It was a bargain price to put out the Drumpfster Fire.

OMG, Lewandowski said the soft part loud! Heā€™s 100% correct, that bigots and haters will willingly support this fraud; it is and has been my considered belief that they represent a small minority of voters in this country. Letā€™s get the decent people out to vote in November; this con man must be defeated.

Can the Comedy News Network please finally bury the rotting shark that their illustrious spokes-idiot,
Corey LewandowsKKKi, has jumped about thirty times now?

Vat?

What was recovered of the deceased was a greasy spot with a few embedded yellow/orange fibers. While initially thought to be human hair, upon analysis, it turned out to be a synthetic nylon. Also found near the scene was a hat reading ā€œMake Mexico Great Again, Also, Too!ā€

What I think is interesting is this: after the ā€œautopsyā€ in 2012, sc*mbags like Phyllis Schafly said, up front, that the GOP didnā€™t need minority support to win. Nope. All they needed was to turn out the White base. Because THAT was the sure fire thing to take the WH.

Uh huh. Well, Rump is taking 100% of the White supremacist vote and will lose. Why? This is 2016 and there exists such a thing known as the ā€œObama Coalition.ā€ This isnā€™t a hypothetical; itā€™s a real bloc. Donā€™t believe me? Ask B. Sanders how it worked out for him. Right now, Iā€™m concerned about the midterms because weā€™ve got to continue turning out for State and Local races. The GOP, as it currently exists, is on the mat. We need to keep it that way.

So, after more than a year of constantly pandering to the white, male, uneducated voter, Trump still has to solidify that support? And Lewandowski admits Trump has to ā€œbroaden his appealā€ to other voters, so that means that somehow in the few remaining weeks Trump has to accomplish that, while not simultaneously losing any of his base? But, yā€™know, if he just does that, then heā€™s all set.

Nothing Trump or his surrogates say can disappoint me anymore, because I already hold them all in as low esteem as possible. I thoroughly expect them to dredge the bottom of the barrel politically and rhetorically every time.

What continues to astonish and frustrate me is the acceptance and normalcy bias of our media institutions, who seem unable to grasp the gravity of the situation. I would love to personally ask reporters and journalists what, if anything, would they do differently in their work if they perceived that a dangerous fascistic force was rising in power and influence in this country. What do they think it would look like? What shape would it take? Do they assume that if it didnā€™t look exactly like what has happened elsewhere in the world in history, then thereā€™s nothing to worry about? Would they have the courage to call it out for what it is? Or would they do what theyā€™re pretty much doing now, which is play the false equivalence/horse race game?

ā€œLook, I think Donald Trumpā€™s message tonight was the message that he started with back on June of 2015, which was ā€˜America First,ā€™ā€ Corey Lewandowski, who still receives a severance from the Trump campaign, said on CNN. ā€œThatā€™s what he believes, and what he is playing to ā€” and if you look at the polling data, heā€™s got about an 18-point lead in the demographic of white males who are voting in this election.ā€

ā€œThey have a high propensity of voting, and so heā€™s got about an 18-point lead on Hillary Clinton in that particular demographic,ā€ he went on. ā€œThis speech is clearly geared at those individuals right now, to make sure they are there, he has locked them in for the election.ā€

oh progressivesā€¦

Corey-boy is glossing over something - white men with college degrees are turning away from El Caudillo del Mar-a-Lago (h/t Charlie Pierce), and there arenā€™t enough white men without degrees to overcome the numerical advantages HRC has among women and minorities.
