This is obviously nothing more than what Putin or Trump wants you to think they talked about.

There was hardly anyone in the room. No one is gonna leak anything because they will all be in deep trouble if they do. This “leak” only exists because it was authorized by either Trump or Putin.

This “leak” points out the dilemma facing reporters who accept such anonymous “information” and then pass it on into the public domain - you WILL be used to forward falsehoods, spin and propaganda. To craft/publish a piece such as this one without adequate caveats is a real disservice to readers.

It was a memo purported to have been, “shared with Trump in Helsinki”. If it’s what it claims to be, then Moscow was the originator. It’s not clear to me how you discuss nuclear arms agreements and space weapons bans with the vocabulary from The Cat In the Hat Comes Back, however.

Nope. No way. This is bullshit. Not buying it.
There is no way that these were the topics in that super secret meeting. The WH has been so secretive about what went on and now we’re supposed to believe they just discussed these innocuous subjects? Not buying it. Nor am I buying this was leaked by Russia. This “leak” has trumps tiny little handprints all over this.
