If Rosenstein appoints a special prosecutor this POS is going away for money laundering.
Hiring a law firm to write a letter means nothing. It means he paid a law firm to write a letter.

The letter avoids the topic of loans, which is the real issue. Lenders exert control over the debtor. That’s what Donnie fears – his Russian lenders (and/or Russian loans through Cyprian and Ukranian banks) calling in his debts.
As a Big Law lawyer for 30 years I ask: why the hell are lawyers making these assertions? This takes a CPA to have full access to financial records and do some forensic accounting. Then the lawyer can send a letter out based on the expert review, with specific data.d
Apparently they based this on a review of his tax returns, which is still a limited view of his finances. It doesnt get into who is behind the various LLC and shell corporations. So you can easily have 100 entities organized under the laws of Belize or wherever but ultimately owned and controlled by the Russians. Same with laundering money through banks in Malta. .
"…and a property sold to a Russian billionaire in 2008 for $95 million."
Twice what it was valued at. So 45 million or so is considered “some”? And that’s just the payoff we know about.
Is it just me, or is Trump looking fatter and more unhealthy every day? Pretty soon, he’s going to be so fat that he’ll need to start flying on Air Force 1 1/2.
The correct answer is, “Yes he did.”

President Donald Trump’s lawyers say a review of his last 10 years of tax returns do not reflect “any income of any type from Russian sources,” with some exceptions.
Definition of “some”: An unspecified amount or number. Sooooo, could be a little, could be a lot.
Anyone wanna guess which one it is???
Clean up on Aisle 5…
Is this anything like registering as a foreign agent after the fact?
There is a simple reason not to trust the veracity of this letter:
It isn’t notarized by the Senior White House Adviser who has been put in charge of such legalities.
Without the seal and signature of Jared “Full Metal Jackass” Kushner it simply can’t be trusted.
I’m confident that Trump will never go to prison.
For that, he’d have to be judged competent to stand trial.
He is an upstanding and decisive leader who always follows the Constitution, with some exceptions.

Trump is well-respected in the gaming industry and is renowned for the success of his signature casinos, with some exceptions.
Here is everything Donald Trump has disclosed about his finances, digitized for your perusal.

YES! That’s right on. This lawyer statement makes it even more suspicious. It’s not income, or Trump’s owning buildings in Russia… He has taken huge loans from Russians… Eric Trump himself told a golf reporter that Trump courses were paid for by Russians… that’s likely only a part of the overall amount that Trump is in debt to Russian interests.
“Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets.”
— Donald Trump Jr., told to a real estate conference in 2008
tRUmp is the most honest person alive, with some exceptions
(thanks tRUmp lawyers for this, what a gift!)
the whole hiring a DC lawyer thing has flown under the radar a little, unsurprising with all the noise this ass makes
The unnamed Russian billionaire cited by the Trump company’s lawyers is Dmitry Rybolovlev, whose financial empire springs from his companies’ production of potash, often used for fertilizer.
Dmitry Rybolovlev. is probably a lot more wealthy than Trumpie, but equally sleazy. There may be quite a lot more to this guy and Turdpie - he seemed to be following the latter around last fall. See:
