Discussion: Lawyer: No US Extradition For Assange After Chelsea Manning Commutation

Assange is a liar who will say anything to influence American politicians but never actually do anything that risks himself. Who knew?

Any more proof needed to show Assange and WikiLeaks are liars and a shady organization?

In other words, Assange is as still as big a fake and phony as we already suspected.

Assange better hope that Jeff Sessions doesn’t get confirmed.

Ash Carter was reportedly against the commutation.

Assange once again showing he’s a coward who refuses to take responsibility for anything. My guess is he would demand a pardon, a castle, and twelve prepubescent girls to give him blowjobs.

First, there is NO extradiction request from the United States for Julian Assange.

This is all yet another attempt for rapist-in-hiding Assange to pretend HE is always the “real” victim in all situations. I say, let him stew in whatever embassy will give him refuge against the rape charges awaiting him in Sweden (just three more years till the statute of limitations runs out and Assange can emerge, claiming a pretend victory).

Second, it was Julian Assange who talked Chelsea Manning into giving him the secret documents for which Manning was convicted. Assange conveniently forgot to explain to Manning how serious the military charges would be if she were caught. Now, as Manning is mercifully released from prison, Assange rushes forward to try to be the center of attention again.

What a slimeball.

extradite himself to the United States

HTF do you do that? I need to know. Can I extradite myself to, say, Oaxaca and have Mexico pay for it? Or is it only within the U.S.? If that’s the case, can I extradite myself to Hawaii?

I guess it’s time I contact J. Assange Travel (or is it WikiTours?) to learn the “terms and conditions” of these new fangled self-extradition plans.

In all seriousness, this bastard couldn’t cross the street, much less the Atlantic, before being busted by bobbies and shipped off to Sweden, screaming “Not a prisoner! Not a prisoner! No. You’re the prisoner!”

Well, Assange, you better hope really hard that Putin doesn’t get tired of you. I’m thinking he will and you’re going to be sorry you aren’t in a federal pen in the US before it’s all said and done.

And if our CIA takes you out instead, I won’t complain. You’re a liar, a thief and serial sexual assaulter and boy do those guys stick together!

No extradition order from US has been created. He is wanted in Sweden, not in US at this point.

Anyone surprised?

Anyone?

You’re confusing your WikiLeaks protagonists, though easy to do. Edward Snowden, who dumped NSA documents published by WikiLeaks, is the one hanging out in Russia; Assange, who founded WikiLeaks, is holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy in London, refusing to face a rape charge in his native Sweden. That said, your point is good, just substitute Correa for Putin.

I have sympathy for Chelsea Manning, who released information to stop wrongdoing, am torn on Snowden (though agree he should not be presumptively pardoned), and think Assange is a narcissistic ass who may have started out with some kind of noble intentions but soon degenerated into a power-hungry, nasty, entitled troll.
