Discussion: Lawmakers Make Progress Toward $1T Plan To Fund Government Through Oct

$15 billion for the military huh?
Well after they build a few unflyable planes and misappropriate half the money, then what?

I guess the Dems have to bend some place and better National Security than a half-assed wall.

That’s $15 billion more. Yearly defense spending is right around $600 billion.

Pails are provided for anyone who needs to vomit now.

It costs money to defund embassies or some such shit.

They’ll take the rest of the money and add it to the $5.6 trillion they already can’t account for.

Well, Trump has a great plan to fund everything without hurting the deficit. And preexisting and postexisting wars are all covered, too . But the democrats won’t let him, and the Fake News failing media won’t report it. So the new plan is to repeal the First Amendment first, then he’ll roll out a one-page summary of the finances.
Believe me.

Thank you, non-Kentucky taxpayers, especially for covering the cost of this when Trump makes health care much more expensive for pre-existing conditions.

Now, back to discussing why Mitch McConnell thinks the American middle class doesn’t need health benefits…

Oddly enough, $600 billion (give or take a few billion) is about what we spend on US K-12 education each year.

I was trying to work that into a snarky comment about what we spend on the military, but my powers are failing me at the moment.

This will give McCain a hard-on …

Hope it doesn’t go off … might kill the ol’ fool —

Trump will get credit for this, and the miners will continue to vote GOP. I wondered why McConnell wasn’t championing this cause for the people of KY. Now I know: He didn’t have to. The Dems would do it for him.
