Discussion: Lawmakers Demand Swift Action For Turkish Embassy Violence

Of course Trump thought the beatings were great and will do nothing. McCain and the Duchess will no doubt be ā€˜concernedā€™.

But the guards quickly claimed diplomatic immunity, and were released after diplomatic security consulted with counsel.

Iā€™d read that they didnā€™t have diplomatic immunity, and this according to attorneys who worked for the State department. This sounds like Comrade Cockholster sprung them on behalf of his pal and role model Erdoğan.

I kind of expect the White House to release a statement that says Erdoğanā€™s bodyguards were just trying to ā€œget 'em the hell out of here,ā€ adding ā€œErdoğan is a strong leader and, I think, heā€™s a good person.ā€

It will be telling to see how long it takes before they are declared persona non grata and summarily deported.

Par for the course. (Temporarily.)

ā€œThere are only so many dictators [Trump] can invite to the White House to pal around with.ā€

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Erdogan paid Flynn a lot of money to get him a meeting with Trump. They expect more for their money. Trump will never retaliate.
